We’re oh so close. Hardy Avery and his team have been out on the trails doing assessments, cutting and moving downed trees, and figuring out where we can direct our collective trail building energy. As of today, Friday April 15, the trails are still closed. Which is frustrating as hell when the weather is this nice but believe it or not, there are still some areas that are not just wet, but frozen. So Hardy has asked us to keep the trails closed until at least Sunday and we’ll reevaluate then. In the meantime, if you’re feeling motivated, head out on foot with some snippers and a rake to help expedite the process. Thanks for your patience and let’s hope for some more warm weather this weekend.

Any hope that any of the local Stowe trails will be open Thursday 4/21 or Fri 4/22? Up for a few days with the family and bikes and would love to ride some trails. Thanks.

We are keeping our fingers crossed but things were still too wet earlier today and we are expecting more rain on Friday, plus colder temps.
